When our local homeless shelter made the tough decision to close, Ben Fugate and the Journey Christian Church decided to take matters into their own hands. They have decided to put their faith where it matters and do everything they can to keep it open.

In August 2016 the Kiwanis Club of Hazard, KY had a 24ft box trailer stolen which contained the club’s Soap Box Derby Cars and all the tools, scales, timekeeping equipment, and other materials necessary to conduct their annual Soap Box Derby Race held each spring.
